At Jolly Tjokkers we promise to care and love your child at their most critical stage of growth. We encourage and promote a positive value system where each child learns to respect and treat each other as they would like to be treated. Our teachers have both passion and love for children. We believe that our high staff to child ratio will ensure the best care and attention is given to each individual child.

Food: Hellen makes our tasty breakfast and lunch meals. Breakfast is always nutritious Mieliemeel or Oats. The lunch menu includes vegetables, starch and meat and is available at the school. Snacks are given two times a day.
Security: Our front gate has a code that can only be accessed by parents and teachers who know the combination. Children are collected by their parents and the school must be notified if another family member collects the child.
Discipline: If a child is not behaving he will get a verbal warning, if the behaviour continues the child will be removed from the group and sent to a naughty chair. In extreme cases of misbehaviour the parents will be notified.
Medication: The school doesn’t store any medication on the premises. Medicine will be given on the parents’ request.
Routine: All the classes follow their own routines, this can be viewed under the ‘Classes’ heading on the website.
Toys: We have a TOY DAY every Friday when children can bring their own toys to school.
Reports: We give a thorough evaluation three times a year of your child’s improvement. This will be in the first, second and fourth terms.
Birthdays: Jolly Tjokkers loves celebrating your child’s birthday!!! We place photos of the event on Facebook and on our WhatsApp groups. Parents can send any cakes or sweets for the celebration.
Clothing: We have special Jolly Tjokker school t-shirts that the children wear every Wednesday.
